It started to to rain when we got there so we took shelter under a bandstand. After 5 minutes a storm started, thunder, lighting, rain and hail, I was terrified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least we didnt do any work, the sheets were soaking!!!! When the storm died down, we went to the fish and chip shop and the toy shop. On the way back there was alot of candy floss!!!!!! Even though the weather was awful, it was fun.

A lot of you enjoyed being in a Victorian school. Of course half of our school is a Victorian building – did you know that? Of course the teachers are much nicer these days. Aren’t they?

wonderful and to find out how little they need and to think that we
need so much.
On Thursday,the whole of year six went to Ironbirdge musuem. I loved it there. We dressed up like victorian children and attended a victorian school. The teachers are very strict ( and scary!) We also had a victorian P.E lesson, it was very differrent to a modern day P.E lesson. We went round the museum which included a victorian poor house; victorian rich house; a victorian church and a victorian toilet- yuck! We got 1 pound in victorian money to spend at the victorian sweet shop and fish and chip shop- the chips were lovely. They served the chips in huge portion so me and Ruby shared!

Ironbridge museum was the best! We dressed up as real Victorians.
We had this stricked teacher and we had to address her a ‘Madam’. We did some strange arm exersises classed as P.E. It was all fun though. We had half of our lunch and saved the rest for the journey home. We went with our groups and my group was the last to buy some chips but it was worth it! Me and Kirsten shared a cone of chips because the portians were huge. We then went to the bakery, the smell was epic.
Some of us bought loaves of bread for their parents but they ended up eating some.
After that, we went to a gahstly church. We istened to her talk about st. Chad.
We then went to the sweet shop-it was heaven! The sweets were lovely, I didn’t expect them to be so beautiful. Although it took a long time to prepare, the whole trip was worth it!

On the 31th of march year 6 went on a trip. We went in a school room which we had to dress up as victoreas it was fun but abit skared. Then we all meet up to have lanch. Class 8 went in the school room and we went in the fish and chip shop. Me and steph did not have chips. We walked round in lots of diffrant shops. And some of them was clossed. I tried some of the braed that waas nice.
Iron Bridge was brilliant. There was a sweet shop which sold loads of sweets like: cherry drops; toffee bons bons; wine gumes; chocolate drops and lickarish(spelling error). The was a school which we had to renact (spelling error). The teacher was really strict. We had to dress up even though the clothes were old fashioned I liked them a little. Altough the chips were cooked in animal fat the were some of the best chips ever. We got to look around the town, there was a little cottage.The fairground was closed in addition to this some people were upest.Having Iron brigde bein very far away we were aloud to bring electronical games.
On Thursday 31st of March 2011 year six went on a trip to Ironbridge . We hade the best time dreesing up as Victorians and learning as a Victorian child . The best part of the trip was walking around the town bying stuff such as : candels ;sweets; chips ; rubbers ; pencils … I need go on.this was one of the best experiences a child could have . so when your child is in year 6 let him or her go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this trip. we dressed up as Victorians and went to school.
We also bought chips , sweets and things to hang on the wall.
I am glad i went to Iron bridge it was fun .
Iron Bridge was amazing. There was victorian shops,butchers,bakerys and loads more .I really enjoyed it. To make it even better we got victorian money (unfortunately it was a museum token ,aww).I bought bread which was lush, I also bought sweets which weren’t as good as the 21st century’s sweets.But I wouldn’t mind living modernly there because everything is sooooooo cheap. You could buy anything for £1000 in our money. We had to try out what school life would be like and the P.E was wierd ‘left arm up,left arm down’.I got a certificate of Merit because I am good and it said that I got it in 1900 and to be honest I don’t really want to be that old over 100 yrs old (sigh) although it would be cool to know what Victorian life was like.I have to admit it was one of the best trips I have ever been on even though I have been there before. From Anjani
I really liked ironbridg yesterday I liked the swet shop and the shop called the plasteras . we all had to dress up as victorians witch i did not like but i did like some bits of the school we had to say the alpherbet backwoods that was hard we also done writting , times tabels and P.E in the sweet shop i brought three bags of sweets miget gums, cherry drops and im not sure what the other ones were called! the chips from the chip shop were loverly and when i wlaked i to the bakery there was a really nice smell of fresh bread unforchunutly all the bread was gone!
mr zakis thank you for letting our class go on the trip and i got loads of sweets and had a brillant time and in the old’ fasiond school and the chips were nise . It was a bit strict in them days.
yr6 went on a trip on 31st of March to Ironbridge. As we are learning about the victorians this trip was essenial for our education. It was fasinating and so much fun.
Here is a list of the Victorain things we did and saw:
We went in to old fashions shops and some of us brought some of the old items;
We wore victorian clothes and went to a victorian school-which was really strict;
We were given old Victorian coins to pay with;
We went inside a rich persons house and a poor persons house;
We went inside a church called St.Chads;
We went inside a Victorian bank;
And in everything that we did or saw someone spoke to us about it.
I enjoyed the trip alot and I know other children did as well and I thank all the teachers and staff that were enrolved in organising and taking us to Ironbridge to learn more about how the Victorians lived.
hi mr zakis
Thank you for letting my class go to Ironbridge.i spent 10 pound . there chip were ace and there chip were lovely.also the were sweet were sssssssssssssssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk .
on the 31st of march year 6 went on a trip to ironbridge it was fab. we went into the school room and it was scary. we had to dress up in victorian school clothes it was funny to see my friends dressed up in them clothes. After we had been in the school room we got changed back into are own clothes and went to look round the victorian streets i broght somethiong from the sweet shop the candel shop and the bread shop also the plaster shop. if i had to pick out a favourite part of the day it would be the candels because they feal sooooooooooo nice. If i was to pick a word to some up the whole day it would be …………AMAZING.
I really liked ironbridge it was great.
(In my opinion the best thing was the bread at the bakery shop I really have to say but that bread was the best.
if i could restart that day all over again I would not really change anything.
but there is one thing i really have to say is if your children hate it when they get yelled the people pretending to be victorian teachers yell at you they are just acting so make sure they are not angry.
Dear freemans website the trip to ironbridge on the 31 of march was brilliant we did many things that i am going to tell you about.
There were lots of great things the one thing which was weird was we had to dress up as victorians and pretend to be at school for a day, our teacher was scary!
After lunch we got to go around the old victorian shops there were shops such as : the bakery,druggist,plasterers and the two best shops the chip shop and the sweet shop.
I bought £2.60 worth of sweets and still have some now. The chips were really salty because I coverd them.
When I walked into the bakery you could smell the smell of fresh bread it was an amazing smell. After that we had to leave that was sad because we had such a great time.
Yr6 went on a trip to Ironbridge, I thought it was going to be boring but when i got there it was fantastic. It was great there, all the stuff there was fantastic, even the dressing up was great. So when you get the chance to go to ironbridge you should really go it is great there!
Tom T
I really liked Ironbridge it was fun
we had too dress up (what was fun) I was the late child so when ma’ma called out the regester she came to my name and she said where’s jessie then Daniel said I saw her when I was walking to school, she was looking after her little brother and her three sisters,I was scared because the teacher was shouting at me because i was late (it was only acting but it was still scary.)
After we went to the sweet shop the sweets were very yummmy!!!!
I had a fantastic time and I do recomend this trip to the next year 6s and the one’s after them and so.
best trip ever so cool
Iron bridge was soo cool
we got to;
buy bread
buy candles
buy clay art work
buy sweets
buy chips
buy printed cards
and best of all we got a glimpse of being a victorian school kid and wear victorian clothes.

IROBNBRIDGE IS BRILLIANT
From Anjani

yr6 went on a trip on 31st of March to Ironbridge. As we are learning about the victorians this trip was essenial for our education. It was fasinating and so much fun.
Here is a list of the Victorain things we did and saw:
We went in to old fashions shops and some of us brought some of the old items;
We wore victorian clothes and went to a victorian school-which was really strict;
We were given old Victorian coins to pay with;
We went inside a rich persons house and a poor persons house;
We went inside a church called St.Chads;
We went inside a Victorian bank;
And in everything that we did or saw someone spoke to us about it.
I enjoyed the trip alot and I know other children did as well and I thank all the teachers and staff that were enrolved in organising and taking us to Ironbridge to learn more about how the Victorians lived.

on the 31st of march year 6 went on a trip to ironbridge it was fab. we went into the school room and it was scary. we had to dress up in victorian school clothes it was funny to see my friends dressed up in them clothes.
After that we had to leave that was sad because we had such a great time.
i thort it was ok but not exerlant
Yr6 went on a trip to Ironbridge, I thought it was going to be boring but when i got there it was fantastic. It was great there, all the stuff there was fantastic, even the dressing up was great. So when you get the chance to go to ironbridge you should really go it is great there!

Iron bridge was soo cool
we got to;
buy bread
buy candles
buy clay art work
buy sweets
buy chips
buy printed cards
and best of all we got a glimpse of being a victorian school kid and wear victorian clothes.
When I get the login I will x
